CODE OF CONDUCT

The following constitutes our Code of Conduct for EuroGrom. All attendees must abide by this code. Violations will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis and may result in a warning, or, in egregious or continuing cases, removal from the remainder of the event.

The EuroGrom Code of Conduct:

Respect personal space: Not everyone is going to be comfortable with touching (such as belly rubs), especially before you get to know them. Don’t assume someone is OK with being touched–always ask first. If that person declines, you must respect that.

Respect privacy: If you share any stories from EuroGrom (on a blog, on Grommr or even just talking with friends), you must respect the privacy of other attendees. Unwanted exposure of personal information (such as surnames) is prohibited. EuroGrom is a private event and reporters are not welcome.

No public sex: At all official EuroGrom activities no sexual contact is allowed that would not be appropriate in a typical gay bar. If you would like to have sex, you MUST do it in the privacy of your own hotel room or home. EuroGrom is a social event, not a sex party.

Ask before taking photos: Not everyone is going to be comfortable having their photo taken, let alone posted on Grommr. Always ask, before taking someone’s photo, if it’s OK to do so. And clarify up front if you intend on posting any of those photos on Grommr or elsewhere.

Follow all directions from the organizers: The organizers will be on-site at all times to maintain safety and order. Failing to heed directions or warnings from the organizers may result in your removal from the event and/or permanent banning from future events.

Drink responsibly: Several EuroGrom activities will involve alcohol. We trust that all attendees will drink responsibly and maintain control over themselves at all times. Members who become rowdy or disruptive may be asked to leave the event until they sober up.

Eat responsibly: Don’t worry, the diet police are not going to be on patrol! But while getting stuffed is a pleasure, becoming unwell is not. Know your limits and be mindful of not getting carried away in all the excitement. Encouragers, you also have a role to play here.

No room for racism or xenophobia: Ours will be a gathering of many different kinds of people from many countries. Attendees are expected to be respectful of differences. Hate speech of any kind is absolutely not allowed.

No smoking inside: Smoking is not allowed inside the EuroGrom Loft or other indoor venues. Smoking is only allowed outside the Loft.

No minors allowed: In line with the rules of Grommr membership, EuroGrom is restricted to participants who are aged 18 or over as of 30 September 2016.
